This record is a compilation of two records:
- The flyleaf of a Prayer book, belonging to Barbara Mannings
- A leaf torn from another, unknown, book.
Both are transcribed from original documents which are in RJT papers. The data is included in the Hugh Torrens of Mayoughill Tree.
Names
Barbara Mannings Prayer Book
This is a flyleaf which has been removed from a prayer book.
Frontispiece is picture of George III (which would date the prayer book during his reign, 1760-1820)
The facing page says:

April 2nd 1774
- World Amy daughter of John and Barbara World was born the 29 September 1783 and baptised the 28th of October following.
- World George, son of John and Barbara World was born the 2 March 1785 and baptised the 25 April following.
- World Christen daughter of John and Barbara World was born the 26 July 1786.
- World Barbara born the 14 January 1788.
- World John born the 12 October 1789.
- World Thomas Gray born the 14 March 1790. (0 is missing, but the order in the page places it there)
- World John died the 8 of July 1791.
- World John born July 17 1792.
- World Ann Mariah March 15 1794.
- Mary World Jan 26 1796.

- Emma World born 9th April 1838
- Emma World died 21st April 1838
- George World born 4th June 1839
Locations
Original prayer book's whereabouts are unknown - presumed destroyed.
The Worlds were a nautical family.
- Thomas Gray World married Caroline Heard on 1st September, 1815 at Stoke Damerel, Devon but later retired to Youghal.
- John World, born 26th Dec 1819, lived first in Bristol then Ireland and then Toronto, Canada
