Further information

Sunday the 15th of August, 2010. John Harper informs me that

Henry Plumb who was born at Mundford married my gg aunt Mary Forster at Brandon in 1815. As far as I know they had no children. Mary Plumb died at Brandon in 1874. I don't know where or when Henry died.

John Harper says he knows little about there Plumbs but has more information on the Forster family (his mother's family). He says:

Mary Forster was born at Brandon in 1795 the eldest child of John Forster, blacksmith & steel trap manufacturer, and his wife Susan Currey. The family pronounced their name 'Foster' so it is often mis-spelt in written records. Mary's brother William Forster was my gg grandfather. His youngest son John Dann Forster settled in Victoria, Australia in 1871 where he farmed for some years before coming to New Zealand in 1906.
